So I know cafe hopping has been a really "in" thing right now. I'm not a cafe-hopping addict, but let's say if I'm given the time and money (also great companies), I wouldn't mind going around hunting cafes around Singapore. You know, as much as I love cafe food, I'll still have to consider the budget constraint. Accessibility is one of the important factors I'd consider, but if the food and service are both equally great, it's definitely worth a second visit. ^^
Here, I'd like to name a few of the cafes that I've been before (more than twice for each cafe).
The first is Grub Cafe located at Bishan Park. Lunched a couple of times with my mum after school. For people like me, the main reason I like the cafe is because of the ambience and tranquil surroundings. I remember the first time I went there was with my family (it's newly opened last year), the service we received from the staff was pretty good.
This year, I re-visited the cafe and I'm glad to see the changes in the Menu. Hahaha. But skipping the main dishes, I'd go straight to their dessert. They HAVE CHURROS NOW. :D
Best dessert ever, Churros in the house.
Eventually this cafe has become a good chill-out spot with my closest one. ;)
MU Parlour at Holland Village is another one of my favourite cafes. It didn't catch our attention when we walked past it because I remember it's like a shophouse located at the second level. I totally love their scrambled eggs! The second time I re-visited this cafe I remember I ordered the same all-day brunch again.
The latest one I've been to is the Loft cafe at Chinatown. Yet another shop-house cafe! Super cosy and comfortable environment. It's definitely one of the best cafes to clear your mind off a load of work, de-stress and chill with friends. Best thing to me is that magazines and books are provided for leisure reading.
I'll definitely be back for a second visit! :)
Happy Friday and enjoy your weekends!
