Give it some thoughts on 2013

Happy New Year! This is actually the first time ever that I gave some seriousness into going more in depth about new year resolutions. Honestly speaking, it's more like the things that I want to do in future, more like a wish list instead.

Anyway they don't come in order.

#1 USA Trip.

To be more precise I'm actually referring to the San Francisco learning trip on March. Heard from Jim that the Year Twos in our course are given the opportunity to fly to San Francisco for the two weeks learning journey! I was so excited when Jim broke the news to us that we might also get a chance to join them. However, the chances are really slim. Nonetheless I'm still carrying a glimpse of hope for this trip to happen. :(

#2 Road Trips/Travelling

I'm jealous of the people who are also around my age being able to go on road trips and tour around the States and Europe. Absolutely envious! I don't know if I'll get a chance to before I hit 30. But before I age, I'd really want to do it when I'm still young. Travelling is fun right? I'd love to embark on a road trip with my best friend/soulmate, then friends, and also my family. I want to venture. Sounds kind of impossible and daydreaming. It's like maybe somebody will get a driving license and we'll get on a vintage car or even better convertible then we will proceed from one destination to another. Sounds fantastic? I want to visit Europe and roam the States so badly. So I'm telling myself to start saving now. I'm saving more money for expensive trips in future and also to save aside for.. flying over to visit any friends who might probably be gone for further studies or something.

#3 Self Improvement

I hope to change my attitude, be less easily irritated by trivial issues and to be less hot-tempered. To deal with situations with a more mature manner, to improve on my GENERAL KNOWLEDGE AND MY ENGLISH language which also means I have to dig more books to read. Apart from this, I should also learn to be more expressive and fluent when I'm speaking. More courageous to speak up in public and to be more RESPONSIVE in an argument!

#4 Concerts

I'd loveeeee to go for MORE CONCERTS! I can't wait to go for Taylor Swift's concert if she's holding one again in Singapore. And hopefully there would also be GLEE concert as well! And many more on the list like Adam Lambert, Maroon 5, Avril Lavigne etc. Not a lot right?

#5 Getting into a recognized University

This is tough for me. I'm not excellent in my studies but I think I'll probably just end up in some private Uni eventually. Based on my grades it seems to be quite impossible to get into a Govt. Uni, especially when I'm considering changing course. This is mind boggling. I shall not elaborate further as of now since nothing has been decided yet and I can't make up my mind which course to settle down. I'm scared and worried and anxious. But you know what? I'm considering of taking SAT. Or maybe not. I don't know. See how it goes when the time comes. A part of me wants to further my studies with my friend(s) too..

#6 Overseas trip with my family

My folks always say they want to fly, like Hong Kong or Taiwan. But procrastination and worries are holding us back, especially Mum. I hope my brothers join us too, then we can have more family bonding time like this. I wonder when is it going to happen.

We are all learning things the hard way in life.

All the best!
