First day of work was pretty alright, minus off all the bad parts. Worried and upset sometimes. But I believe I will learn. Bottom line is, being petite feels really horrible. K nvm, I should learn to appreciate the way I look. The fact that my perfect height has bothered me because it puts a huge limit to certain number of things that I want to do, or want to be.
Going overseas/travelling, not allowed. Air stewardess, not qualified. Model, not qualified. Breathe in fresher air, never ever. I know I'm not the worst but at the end of the day I'm still being categorized as the short ones. Well that sucks.. for me.. This song always makes me so sad after listening to it. I remember the day when I heard Jessie J singing live at the concert, I was tearing throughout. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, I discovered something really precious, interesting and cool to me on the past few days! My Dad keeps three cameras, 1 of them is the OLDEST polaroid Fuji Instant Camera ever and that's in the 1960s. How cool was that? I discovered this last night. Was telling my Dad I love retro instant camera and suddenly he said, "I have one, in the cupboard. You go take yourself." Then I was like "REALLY?!" I couldn't contain the excitement in me, so I decided to blog it. :) Then my mum was like, "I never knew you have this camera. You secretly hide it in the cupboard for how many decades." HAHAHA! But it's really cool and it looks like this, Click it Someone is selling this on eBay, and I was like, "Hey I've got this and I'm proud of it." Hehe. Seriously, but I wonder if it's still workable. Another two camera I discovered is this, Yashica Camera Someone is selling on ebay too. I brought this camera to the camera shop at AMK hub and asked if it's still working. Sad to say, only the shutter is faulty and the shop attendant suggested I should get a new one instead of repairing this old one. But it's so expensive... I love retro cameras man and this is really antique. The cameras my Dad owns are way older than me. Another one is Yashica MG-1. Brought it to examine yesterday and it's still workable just that I have to get the battery first and this f**king battery is banned in Singapore. It's so difficult to even find it online now. So, I planned to make a trip to Peninsula plaza and ask the shops there whether my Dad's 60s instant camera is still working. Even if it's still working, it's hard to find FI-800 GT instax wide too. But I don't mind making a trip there alone (abit upset becos I don't think anyone is available to follow me there cries 自己一个人) nevermind I supposed many people also like that just that it's a bit lonely imo. You don't agree? I'm gonna revive the cameras!! :) |
