EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

This post is gonna be a unique/SPECIAL one as IT HAS A TITLE and it's all about Amanda's surprise 19th birthday celebration which happened TODAY!

I've never really taken initiative to plan for birthday celebrations before because I know it's gonna be tedious and stressful to take charge of everything to make sure that it all goes well eventually. But this time, it's different and a special case. The initial plan was to organize the birthday celebration in school. However, thank God school is cancelled today! Just that we have to re-plan for the celebration. In order to ENSURE THIS YEAR'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TO TURN OUT AS A SUCCESS, I racked my brain to think of all sorts of ideas, and AFTER MUCH CONSIDERATION, I decided to approach Amanda's mum to help me/us out with the surprise plan. Her mum's really cool about it, she agreed and I proceeded to mass spam all the messages to my classmates, ONE BY ONE, because I'm so afraid that it might go to the wrong recipient accidentally LOL! This process is really kinda stressful and tedious, because I'm so anxious that the plan is unable to proceed smoothly. Fortunately everyone cooperated and agreed to attend the birthday party! (Oh well if they don't I'll still force them to do so LMAO)

And finally, after triple confirming with the "attendance list", I made the final announcement of our meeting time and venue! And I've to say, the meet-up timing went perfect! Ha! But's kinda expected that some will come a bit later, so in the meantime while we are waiting for the late comers, we went to hunt around Bugis to get a birthday cake. Aw man, speaking about that, we walked around and kept thinking whether there are any cake shops nearby which sells good cakes and have number candles instead of those cliche ones. Then I happened to think about getting a cake from Swensens or Ma-maisons, but it's too early because Ma-maisons were still in the midst of preparing so it wasn't opened yet. Therefore I decided to get back to Swensens instead. But it's such a pity because Swensens doesn't provide number candles! So I went around searching for number candles, asking any kind of shops that would probably sell this kind of candles. But there is none, other than Bread talk. And great, Break talk has it, they have all numbers EXCEPT FOR ONE. Urgh! Then Samantha suggested to replace the "1" using a normal candle, yeah so I did what she said. All right so all's well and we get back to the train station to meet the rest, thank God everybody managed to arrive on time and we had enough time to get to that particular restaurant which Amanda's mum has already reserved for us! Hehe! :D

We reached about 40 - 45 minutes earlier. I guess everyone was pretty relaxed except for me getting nervous and all that and even got a tummyache LOL. Oh well this always happens to me whenever I'm nervous! Oh and not forgetting, I recorded a few funny short clips(sorry for the lousy quality) showing us "behind the scenes", walking and finding our way to the restaurant and camping inside the cosy room when we arrived. Being the organiser is stressful, but to make sure that everything goes smoothly and that the surprise will turn out memorable for the birthday girl is even more stressful! Furthermore, the protagonist is a really sharp and alert one. So we actually have to keep the plan safe hohoho ~ :P

Once I received the message that the V.I.P is going to arrive in a short while, I panicked and got so nervous lol, informing the rest of the class to get ready for the surprise! I ran out of the room to ask the waitress for the cake which was initially kept in their fridge or whatever, then went back to the room, getting the cake ready! So everything's almost done, turned the lights out, except that we haven't light up the candles! And it turned out the birthday girl has appeared! And out of the sudden everyone went silent LOL and stared at her. I started to take the lead to sing the birthday song and everyone sang along! We were singing while lighting up the candle at the same time. Haha! But eff yeah! All in all, it's considered as a GREAT SUCCESS BIRTHDAY SURPRISE PLAN/PARTY! Right? Hehe!

I'm glad my surprise plan turned out well eventually, special thanks to birthday girl's mum for her help too! As well as her generous treat. :D It had been really amazing! Having to see that everyone has had a great time and enjoyed themselves so much that we even drank, and most importantly, the birthday girl was really elated and I've to make sure that she has the best 19th surprise party ever on the 19th. AWESOMENESS.

I suddenly have this sense of satisfaction and happiness in me lol. Because I'm so happy I didn't ruin my own plan and it was a success. I wouldn't really say I've done a really excellent one, because I think the birthday cake part didn't proceed as what I've planned earlier. I actually wanted to get everyone ready and in a count of 3, everyone will gather around and shout "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" as soon as the minute the V.I.P steps into the room! D;

But it's okay because eventually at least 95% of the plan turned out successful! :D

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED? ;DDDD

This birthday surprise is specially planned for you by me! I hope you enjoyed yourself today and that this surprise party will be a super memorable one for you! :D XOXO

Last but not least,

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN ! :D
