HELLO PEOPLEEEEEEEEE! Today's entry is about the photoshoot I went yesterday. It's a photoshoot for my school cover brochure according to the lecturer who rang me up last Friday and told me they've chosen me as the cover girl for my school. Excited? Yes, definitely ! So the photoshoot actually went like this: Thankfully Amanda tagged along with me! I would be so afraid to go alone! Becos when we reached there by cab, the area and building looks so old and the lift looks creepy too. It's like some kind of warehouse building. So when we reached there, Fabian came out and I couldn't recognize him. He was like "Hi Alida." and I gave him the who-the-heck are you face. (FYI Fabian is the lecturer who phoned me for the photoshoot in school previously.) He brought us in to the photography studio. I took a seat and the make-up session began! It's cool because that was actually the first time I had a proper make-up. It wasn't that bad after all speaking of the entire experience, except there were many awkward moments during the photo-taking process, LOL! Guess what after I put on makeup, I couldn't recognize myself!!!! While I was having my makeup the photographer came over and introduced himself to me. He asked me whether I'm local because he said I look like a thai to him. HAHAHA! I look like thai? WOW, that's the first time I actually heard people say I look like thai LOL ! I also had my hair permed for the first time in my life. Perm hair for the first time LOL! Totally look different! Coming up next was the outfit. I had to change into their outfit and when I came out, Amanda said she actually wanted to laugh out loud but she didn't because there were a lot of people there. -.- Yeah the outfit was totally effing AWESOME LOL. So here it goes... I will just post one photo for those who are curious of how I looked like to see... Tadaaaa!!! No it's not me! ![]() I doubt they are going to use those photos for the brochure thingy... Anddd I guess my cover is not going to make it. I could barely recognize myself with my makeup on and the hair permed!!! OH AND THEY EVEN PUT A HAIRBAND ON MY HEAD. But well, after all it's a great experience. It's fun even though I didn't manage to fulfill their requirement of how they want the photos turn out to be. My apologies to that! :( Even IF my photos ain't chosen for the cover eventually, I'd have no regrets because I enjoyed the process! I felt like some big shot for 3 hours HAHA! I had worn proper makeups before, thanks to this I've had my hair permed for one day and I know exactly how I look like with a different hairstyle! I was a "big shot" for 3 hours! Why do I say that? Because during the process, when my hair falls out of place or something, the hairstylist will immediately stop the photographer from taking photos of me until my hair looks neat and tidy! Using hairspray to spray on my hair... Makeup artist will make sure the makeup is still on my face. Hmmm and if my clothes is untidy, there will be assistant who came to adjust the clothes for me. WOWOWOW I felt like a boss/star totally! LOL! Except that I wasn't professional enough to take photos... Sighhhh hahaha~ ----------------------------------- Oh! I went to visit my Swizzie cousin today again! It's so cool having angmoh cousins! :P I thought I'd have a hard time communicating with her because I ain't good getting used to their angmohish accent. She asked me go for a walk with her today and I agreed! It actually turns out better than what I've expected! I'm quite happy about it! Heheheh. At night, we had dinner together as a whole family. I'm very contented. :') Labels: I'm having heavy eyebags. |
