The City That Never Sleeps

Hello! As you guys are already aware that the O level result is released on Monday, so I shall just go straight into the points.

Well, I didn't really do well for this national exam but previously my prediction of the result is rather accurate. I don't wish to talk about my L1R5 because it's too heart-wrenching for me to reveal that. I'll just announce to you that my L1R4 is just 14. I could have done better for certain subjects. Anyway, there's nothing to regret and mull over the grades now. :(
But what makes me elated is that my hard work had paid off for my combined science and Art!
Speaking of which, yes, Art, the subject which I'd wasted so much time in it, thinking of idea and preparing all those preparation work. Finally, I'd already predicted a B3 for it and yes, I ever told myself that if I ever score a B3 grade for my art and I'd be contented enough. Thankfully, the painstaking efforts I'd put in for my art has not gone to naught. :)

Next is my combined chem/bio, I've also scored a three for it. I'm already thankful enough to score a B3 for my science. Waking up at 3am in the middle of the night to study was torturous. This shows that my hard work has paid off! :D
Let's talk about my POA. I'm sad to say that I've only scored a 3 for it. My expectation for POA was higher. But nevermind, three is good enough. =/
Mathematics! Finally I'm back to my B3 grade! :D

Anyway, before the results are out, or rather, even before I took this examination, I've already considered going to a polytechnic and that's that. Nothing else, I know I won't have the confidence to bring myself to cope with Junior College life. Having racked my brain and pondered carefully over the past three days, I've decided to take up chinese media and communication in ngee ann poly as my first and ultimate choice. I really have thought over it for umpteen times.
After all, I still prefer Chinese. So I went to Ngee Ann and check this out yesterday and I got to know that for this particular course, there are only 50 vacant places available for students so I'm actually quite worried now. Because their cut-off is 13 right, and my result is one point more. This makes me even more worried. So, just pray hard that I'll be able to get into my favourite course. Otherwise, I might get into multimedia and animation. I placed that as my second choice and I guess I'll get a higher chance entering this course as its cut-off is 16. And by right, before my cca deduction, my aggregate is also 16. (Wow my favourite number -.-)
Well but in any case, I still wish to get into chinese media. You know I like chinese.

Oh yes and congrats to those who did well! My ex pri-sch schoolmate is really superb! With an aggregate score of 2, she's eligible for all the JCs she wants to go. And, she came from St. Nicholas. *3 cheers and applause for you*

I'm off to take my lunch. Byebye!
