A tough decision.
Next coming Monday, it'll be the release result of O levels. Thus, it also means that I'll get to know my chinese result very soon. I heard from some of my classmates that they wish to drop higher mother tongue for this year. Frankly speaking, I can't believe that I'm actually having the thought to give up my higher chinese, currently. I heard from my MT teacher that if we choose to continue our higher mother tongue for this year, we definitely have to sit for this O level higher chinese papers. However, if we chose to give up now, we don't have to waste time to prepare and sit for the chinese GCE O levels since we've already sat for it last year, with the Sec 4s. In addition, I guess I won't hit the L1R5 target for JC. Thus, taking higher mother tongue is pointless because it can't help me to cut off 2 points. Even though this is so, I find it a pity to give up my higher mother tongue. Should I continue my hmt or drop this subject? Please help me. I've to make up my mind by next Monday. =( Give up, not?
