Day 1, 15th Nov 08, Saturday
Well, after a 7-hour flight, my legs have already become numbed. Oh! You know there's a mini television on the back of each seat in the plane. So gooooood! All the movies and music like J-pop, K-pop and Chinese pop are found there! I went to search for the chinese category and guess what! I found Evan's latest album songs and Yoga lin's Bo Le there! Yayyyyy! :D So I went to listen, playing on loop. Haha! Luckily they have this tiny teevee on the back of the seat there. If not, I think I cannot tahan throughout the 7 hours, doing nothing except taking meals and going to the lavatory.

Afterwards, we were at the Melbourne airport there waiting for the bus driver to come and fetch us. Hmm, while waiting.. I took some random pictures at the airport.. super random. You know, boredom kills.

After waiting for what seemed like eternity, the bus driver who drove us to and fro everyday, finally came to fetch us. I can only say that Australia is really huge. Each bus ride we took was at least 1 hour or so before the destination. The longest bus ride I've sat for was 3 hours! If I didn't remember wrongly, I guess it's the route to Great Ocean Road.

Hmm, Rick(driver) drove us to our homes! We stayed in Frankston Holiday Village for 8 and a half days.

And that's my bed. I slept on triple-decker bed. Hmm, I chose to sleep at the lowest deck. Hahaha. Well, I didn't really sleep well on the first night because I woke up in the middle of the night but managed to get back to sleep. And I'd homesick on the first night! Haha! Now I know how does homesick feel like..

Miss Tan actually told me to exchange bed with Hannah on the 4th night. So we exchanged and on the following night, I decided to return to my previous triple decker bed because I guess I've gotten used to it. Haha...

So this is the toilet aka bathroom.

On the first night, I didn't know how to control the heater while showering. Cause there were 2 taps there. One was red in colour and the other blue. Initially I didn't know which to turn on. So I turned on the red one, the water was burning hot and I turned on the blue one, it's freaking cold. End up I got myself scalded when I turned on the red one to shower. Ahhhhh. Thankfully the injuries were not serious. It recovered right after I applied some cream on it. Sigh. I told Miss Tan about it and she taught me how to control the heater. So the other 8 consecutive days, I learnt from the lesson and knew how to control the heater already :D

The television which consists of only 6 channels I guess.. Nothing much to watch. I missed all the Singapore tv programmes!

I didn't know hangers would be provided down there and I brought my own hanger! >,<

Hmm, you know one thing. I enjoyed the bus ride the most la. Hahahah! Because it's so comfortable. All of us slept during the ride each time we went outing. Lol~

So we went to Hungry Jacks' to take our lunch after we arrived Melbourne.

Okok, I've slightly forgotten what we've done during the past few days in Mel. Erm, mostly was paying visit to various art museums and did some sketching bah. Yeah, and .. I took many pictures in the art museum, but I can't upload them here or else I'd be dead. Anyway, those guards in the art museums forbid us to take pictures of the artwork. They said we can take but no flash is allowed cause it'll affect the artworks' colours to fade away or whatever lame excuses. I don't know -_-

*Recalling in process*I think we went to National Gallery of Victoria on the first day, yup.

As for dinner, most of the time we bought takeaways. Hawhaw.. We don't have to spend a cent for food XD
Yup so I guess that's all about it for Day 1 :)

We went to those craftshops on art. So there were those very adorable and interesting designs on art. But I didn't take any pictures on them because I guess it again needs permission and I was lazy then. Hence, sorry that I can't share any of these pictures with you guys :(

HEH! Ice-creammmmmmm!

*Drools* It tastes exactly like Swensens' although it wasn't from Swensens. I've forgotten what's my flavour but I guess it's coffee, most probably. And the lady was so kind enough to give me 2 big scoops of it whereas she gave WJ only 1 small scoop! Heheh XD I guess it costs $3.50 or $4.50 and for this, we paid for it ourselves deez. Btw, I guess we were a bit mad. The weather there was super cold already and we still bought ice cream to eat eh. But shiok lah *thumbs up* ;D Each day we went out for outings we nearly freezed to death cause it's just too colddddd. Seriously, cold to the state that it could make my teeth go shivering non-stop >,<

Look! The trees are so cuteeee! Oh yes, along the ride, we also saw many moo-moo cows and meh-meh sheep. I managed to capture one picture for cows and the other one for sheep. But sadly, I realised I've accidentally deleted my sheep picture. T.T The sheep looks so cute can?

Maybe I will find someday to grab a picture of sheep from WJ's camera and show it to you guys bah :)

HAHA. Random. I took this picture in one of the museums. I thought the reflection of light on the floor looks pretty cool so I captured it down. lol.

We went to this place which I think it's called the Robert Barron Pottery? Haha, my dad's name! And I realised most of the artists' names which I came across are called Robert something something. lol.

Weee! I managed to capture the scene when the dog was hopping and jumping around its owner!

Pelicans are so cute :)

Hahaha. This one was super funny. The couple was feeding the pelicans. The pelicans' eyes are super sharp. They crowd around the couple for food!

We came here to take our fish n chips lunch. Let me tell you this. The way they packed food is really terrible. Too bad I didn't take down the picture for you to see >_<

During the night, we went to Penguin Parade to see penguins!!!! The penguins were damn freaking cute and chubby and adorable. Unfortunately, the person-in-charge said we couldn't take pictures of the penguins because it'll frighten the penguins away. -.- Haix, anyway, I took this penguin picture from a book. The penguins I saw look exactly like this.

You know something!! The penguins were so united. They walked in groups. Keke...

Btw, Shareen, Venus, Regina, Wanjun and I thought we were lost just on that day @ the penguin parade. We tried to contact our teachers but the line just couldn't get through. End up all the five of us running to look for our teachers and friends. We even ran to the Neptours bus there but nobody was inside the bus. So, Wanjun and I went into the place where we were lost and guess what? We found Mrs Kong and the others still looking at the penguins. -.-

Nobody knows we were in the process of MIA T.T
